Over the years we've tried allowing sorta mini-communities to exist within the server and without fail every single one turned into a massive headache that should've become a separate server long before. A lot of these responses are mirrors to those made when said mini communities were shut down, and imo adds further justification for the clubhouses to be shut down

Ngl exactly thats the issue with other channels I personally see, if you don't have any type of 'replacement' of those club channels. The larger other channels (like the SC main channel) are literally constant spam, and its impossible to have any kind of conversation most of the time about a topic for longer than few minutes

Forums don't play nicely with moderation tools such as bots that call out rule breaking items which makes them just in general super hard to moderate. Someone could be very easily doing weird stuff in here and without us constantly checking them we would have no idea.

Grand bazaar doesn't have the same issue because we have a dedicated mod team for it, unfortunately the clubhouse isn't nearly as active and doesn't warrant doing so but even it being less active doesn't mean rules can't still be broken.

We have had plenty of situations, not specifically in this thread, of people getting away with breaking the rules and us not knowing for a while because nobody reported it.

We universally hate forums and try not to use them if it can be avoided.
