When I request a user's crowns, it's sorted either by date of crown claim or by number of listens, and I can't see how to control that. I tried appending "playcount" or "-playcount" to the command, and neither seemed to have an effect. I couldn't find any help on the website either. What am I missing? Thanks.

You should be able to do .crowns @user playcount or .crowns @user recent

Ah, I found the problem! The option works when I use either their discord tag or their discord ID, but not when I use their last.fm username. What's the procedure for bug reports?
