I found a glitch that is kinda annoying. My game is linked to my Google play games account. I changed my play account AV (don't like the default one) and decided to change my in game av to be my play av. Problem is in game it still shows my old play av and won't update to show my new one. I tryed clearing data and even deleted and reinstalled and no change

I believe this is an older issue that's related to Google's API and how the game is able to fetch and sync the data that's then used to display your in-game avatar upon account linking.

I have tried unlinking then relinking and uninstalling and reinstalling. The problem persists. Will this ever be adressed and fixed?

Can't really say tbh, however, I'll send a reminder to our Android team regarding this long standing Google API implementation issue.
