cant swap main hand to left hand

minecraft main hand setting does nothing, and the reverse hand setting causes the hands to repeatedly switch their positions with eachother. any help?

swap default hand from right to left, not offhand

Left hand is borked for now last i checked

So its only right handed mode until it can get fixed
