disabling narrator with narrator:"false" on instance/options.txt seems fixes it. Now I can play without issues.
Thank you for marking this question as solved!
narrator autodisables when its not found (this "error" is seen everytime questcraft launches since there is no TTS bundled in that it can use)
what more than likely happened was due to you manually setting ram values, leaving it untouched tries to allocate as much as the system is able to, and if in between that time the quest was in sleep/off the memory essentially clears
considering it crashed the instant it tried loading ~150mb into ram... yeah
hot tip just don't touch the manual ram setting
Yes, I had mentioned earlier that I tried launching it with the default RAM setting while the option was set to off (didn't changed) but it didn’t work. Strangely, when I changed it to "false," it started working. I’ll try reinstalling it and go through my steps again.
I tried the steps again, but unfortunately the issue is still not resolved. I still can’t see the main menu, which is quite strange.
I tried launching the 1.21.5 default instance three times. Each time, it first shows the splash art, and then it teleports me to a place that looks like a singleplayer world.
Previously, I had removed Simple Voice Chat and BadOptimizations, but even after trying again, I still can’t get into the menu.
I also tried narrator:"off", narrator:0, and narrator:"false", but none of them worked.
