I had sync with my google drive and them suddenly my entire history in paimon.moe was reseted and it reseted my google drive too so i was wondering if there is a way to retrieve it? i still have a printscreen of some of the data that has been lost although i can't find the weapon/standart banner

General Background
Firstly, when you first upload wish data, it is kept in a browser cache on your device. This doesn’t get transferred anywhere and stays on your device (until your OS deletes it). Note that the cache is intended for temporary storage, meaning a lot of features / functions of the OS or other apps that “clear up storage space” deletes this cache. This means restarting your device (in some instances) also deletes this cache.

The only way to retain this is to store it into a Google Drive (via the feature the site provides). But when attempting to connect to the Google Drive, the site attempts to check if there was any prior data in the Google Drive first:

  • If there isn’t, it will then match as normal.
  • If there is, it will then prompt the user to decide which data should replace which (browser cache > Google Drive; or vice versa).
    After which, once the Google Drive is “sync-ed” (seen with the green tick) it also means that both the browser cache and Google Drive’s data are, at that moment, exactly the same.

As time goes by, your browser cache might change / reset, and Google Drive will often sign you out (for security reasons). So when you upload your new wish history, and it goes into your browser cache as a new set of data, it doesn’t build on what you have already pulled.
