This is a light civil utility aircraft which saw first flight in 1959.
Although designed by Al Mooney of Lockheed, plane wasn't produced in US but in limited quantities in Mexico, Argentina as well as built under license by Aermacchi of Italy and Atlas Aircraft Corportation in South Africa.
Around 180 of those planes were built in total and used by some of the Air Forces around the world.
