A camera attachment to some selected planes that you can move with your mouse while still controlling your plane with the keyboard. Essentially a ball that is toggleable like the landing gear for when the plane is on the ground. When the camera is toggled on, it allows the player to look throught it by pressing a key on their keyboard. While looking through the camera, the player should be able to rotate it and zoom in and out (with limitations of course like no more up than 10 degrees etc). Would be really amazing to people who like to take pictures from the air and not be locked to a specific view from the front.

Not realy a freecam as it is attached to a plane that you still need to pilot, but its a camera that you can control with a mouse to get the view that you want

Drones or planes with thermal have a turret view that gives you a movable black and white view

That suggests the origin position of the camera, changing the height value while attached to the plane
This suggests to add cameras to the FLIR/EOTS, although it’s already in game, with an addition of limiting camera rotation, as well as rolling
