#Allow Players to Offset the Camera Axis

I'm not sure how to explain this, but the intended effect is seen when you place smaller planes/cars into larger planes. For me, the camera feels to be focusing on the top half of the plane so the rest of it looks unbalanced. If the axis could be lower but still rise to the window position in first person, the game might actually look and feel better (for me at least).

Don't mind the background noise and the incredibly low frames lol

A good solution could be to add an [insert value] offset setting for the x, y and z axis, as my particular request might not be what everyone wants. Some may want a similar idea, but for different reasons. This could allow us players to revolve around the cockpit, choose different windows to view from, maybe film something similar to the tail cam on the a350 and a380, but it will certainly allow us to take better and cooler screenshots that could not have been achieved before!

A system could be made to store axis location presets, with an additional option to return to the center when in first person. A small "REVERT" button next to each axis for a quick snap back to center (0,0,0) would also be necessary.

I really hope my explanation makes sense 😅

why?

relative things look bigger

#

It's kind of an illusion that you're smaller than the plane (the camera)

#

From what I understand

#

u want to see the air or the ground more?
because if you say lower axis, the axis would be on the gears, and your screen would be filled with concrete/asphalt while taxiing

it makes the world feel a big bigger

pale pelican
#

so you still want to see more ground than air rather than higher axis like what war thudner does?

cyan burrow
#

Like just under the windows

#

no 😭

#

it's just for warp illusion

#

try driving the Texel or any other ground vehicle around and tell me how it feels compared to the other planes

cyan burrow
#

Not exactly as low as that, but maybe they could introduce a value offset setting

#

It could be good for pictures and filming as well

Might be quite useful for boat cameras

OH MY GOD

#

YES

cyan burrow
#

Yk, it might be cool to be able to save presets for different axis locations

#

Lemme add that

It's the same

#

Oh okay

#

Side question, is it possible to have different atmosphere densities for different heights?

#

Well nvm actually, I'll just go make a suggestion about it lol
