The pockets of dangerous areas such as storms is nice, but it's for fog, rain, and storms only. I'd love pockets of high wind to be implemented as a separate hazard to storms, and perhaps visualised on the map with directional arrows. They could be slowly scrolling within the frame if that's not too difficult to implement. I've attached potential examples below, but I'm not that great at visual design.
More variants of weather is generally a plus for variation and challenge, and I think it'll be particularly easy to implement since it's just taking the wind system already in-game and adding an indicator to it. I suspect it might require some reworking of the map to avoid conflict (i.e storms should take priority over areas of high wind), as well as implementation of high winds separate to storms in the first place.
