#An ultra low performance mode.

yh I've seen some wierd stuff with performance recently
its not like client memory went up or anything
neither did the CPU power
but it somehow still got so much laggier
I could fly a B-2 from lynwood to tsel, circle it a few time and go back before
hold on lemme get some stats if devs want to look into it
now I can't even get there
my specs are:
- 7600
- 7800xt
- 32gb 6000mt/s
- running the game on a nvme ssd
When running the game on max settings without any frame gen or upscaling, I average 40fps at tomfoolery (the adrenalin display on the top-right shows the fps and for some reason a incorrect gpu usage number)
I usually play with lots of frame gen as I don't notice any artifacts and enjoy the smoothness
the lag now is noticable
very noticable
I got 5 frames and my plane's ranges got cut in half
this was on a big server, after moving to a smaller server my fps has shot up to like 80
Huh
I don't have any performance issues with aeronautica
My specs are:
I5-12600kf
Arc750
16gb 3200mhz
Running on max graphics without upscaling or any of that stuff
what fps?
Shrug
I'll get a pic with actual numbers tomorrow
But I haven't had any noticeable issues
yh mine isn't that noticable either
I feel like i would have issues if i were still playing on my laptop
Since my pc is kinda beefy
my laptop isnt
buy a better one
God forbid roblox give players the option to reduce render distance client side
I think having a potato mode would solve a bunch of performance related conplaints
some games have that and it makes life so much easier
alternatively you could just optimize is but that really isnt going to go too far
I wonder how tied fps is to server lag, wierd it has any relation at all
if you have a low performance device perhaps don't join the 200 player server...
I haven't had any performance issues on my
I5-9400F
GTX 1650
16gb
Whatever issues people are having are on older devices it seems, however anything with dedicated graphics that is newer than 2018 shouldnt struggle
Even some new Ryzen CPUs should have significant enough integrated graphics to get a stable playable framerate in aero
I will test this on a laptop that isn't that powerful to confirm this theory
The integrated graphics on an i7 ultra 258V gives me 50-60 fps with max graphic settings
Aero barely works on my i3 - 10th gen u core
this semi exists when the textured ground isnt loaded and the ground is just solid lime green and everything else is single colored
meanwhile on a PC with a 7600X, 4070 Ti, and 32 GB DDR5
still acceptable to me, as someone who played on a shitty gaming laptop before
Exactly, my theory is it’s something dependent on the server as mine almost doubled when changing from a high player server to a very low player server
it definitely factors in tbh
I might change it to see if my CPU runs better though, since roblox is running on my GPU rn
not a lot of change, but higher frames
how do you open this again i forgot
running game on max settings without upscaling or frame gen
while clipping with medal
where fps? also do you have a frame limit on cause otherwise I'd expect higher GPU usage
shift F5
I set my amd clipping stuff to 20m at one point and I kept accidentally hitting the keybind so it ended up just being a keybind to delete 4.5gb of storage

tbh it could also be due to geforce experience but it has never affected my performance badly
I'm still trying to see what is causing the issue since my frames were above 60 or around 90 before the update
40fps
okay so ig hovering around 30-40 FPS is just aero these days then
while near underpantwhatever singapore place
yeah your hypothesis is right
but that's how it is on some roblox games tbh, due to the way roblox is
so it's not really an issue aero could probably fix other than more optimisations
unless there's another way then damn
okay further testing seems to be
unless your PC is a potato, normal servers should be okay
probably
Normal servers are variable for me
Most are fine but some do tend to spike sometimes
Yeah
Also erm
Do not open the map
Funny creature
Me when i open the image that makes the numbers angry
A few notes
(Coming from someone who played for years on a crappy device)
One of the main contributors to lag is clouds.
Because there is no built in setting for it, I would recommend downloading the bloxstrap launcher, which has a built-in feature to turn off billboardGUIs (including clouds)
It gives massive boosts in FPS
And then additionally… would recommend playing exclusively in small servers as close to your irl location as possible. Lower ping and less aircraft on the map will directly improve FPS
Also make sure cross server is always off

not a image
it renders the whole map
server almost def plays a role as if you compare this to auratic's video then it's clearly a way lower drop
just realised that's without cross-server. With cross-server it averages ~35 and ~25 while on the map
( i know)
just simply use bloxstrap
how does one get upscaling and frame gen on roblox
Adrenalin can apply it to any game, nividia app (GeForce experience?) is likely the same
Your dedicated GPU software applications
So uh
Gforce experience
Intel graphics application
Idk about ryzen
adrenalin
remember the time when they had to remove lots of assets because roblox made the memory size rlly small
they should add that as a toggleable feature, since many games have it
and not everyone has a good gaming computer
and with the new clarence update its so laggy
I don’t even think I can play atm until I get a new pc, I’m hardly getting above 10/15fps on min graphics ;(
even with bloxstrap my old poopoohead laptop completely fails to run clarence at a non-slideshow fps
put 2 rtx5090s in it and 128gb of ram
#help-channel message and they say they have a 4090 if you scroll up
‘feels like 5 fps’ I mean I imagine he’s not wrong
Woah. Im happy to know that the integrated graphics on my new laptop can actually run a game that even a 4090 is struggling with. These new processors are seriously good
I mean he’s prob max graphics, idk if you are. He also likely gets 80+, as I have worse specs and get around that without frame gen. If you’re used to 165 then 80 is deadass half of what you’re used to and feels very choppy
true. I can never really have that feeling. Never got 60 fps+ in my life. But I do get decent performance on max graphics, with max light rendering and all that... Big boost from my older lappy where simply opening the game would send the system into cardiac arrest
not rly, i average 500-600 on other games with a 160hz mon and when i put a limit to 60-80 i feel very fine and barely feel some choppiness
meanwhile me tryna get 20 frames outta my laptop
I noticed looking at empty sides of the map (like southern seas) very stable unlike the opposite direction. I guess roblox engine doesn't unload anyhting in memory terms and it's most likely an engine feature.
I usually close everything for a smooth game on my 4 core athlon x840
what’s specs? I’m hardly pushing 20 aswell
core i5 GTX 720 8 GB ram
im on a laptop
ah Alr
