Reason for the Suggestion:
This feature is mainly intended to help recreate specific lighting scenarios often seen in real-life aviation photography. For example, simulating a night approach with street lights reflecting off the underside of an aircraft.

How It Works:
Players can place a customizable light block into the viewer. This block can be moved around freely using drag controls or the move tool, and rotated to adjust the angle of the light. It can be used to simulate different lighting directions and effects on the aircraft. Players can also tweak the light block’s settings for brightness, color, and intensity to better match real-world scenarios. (See image example for reference.)

Pros:

  • Adds more control over lighting for screenshots and liveries.

  • Helps bring out aircraft details in custom lighting setups.

  • Great for replicating realistic photo conditions.

Cons:

  • Roblox lighting can be janky or inconsistent depending on the environment.

Optional Suggestion:
Add gate preferences into the livery viewer to allow users to preview their liveries at specific airport gates. (See image example for reference.)
