upgraded harrier used my the USMC from their amphibious assault ships. could be a convertible from the harrier ingame Dunno

very cool plane devs please add great
not rlly good at any jobs so won't need much balancing

Better engine and avionics

Thing is the new engine was larger so they had to re-design the airframe for it

Which is why the devs can't just use the old model

Newer engine, bigger wings (more hard points), longer range, has a RADAR (previously only a Sea Harrier thing), flies slower (from near supersonic to solidly subsonic)

Canopy is raised so you can actually see behind you, the original harrier has a cockpit more similar to a P-51C

Best way I can impart to you thr changes:

the outriggers didn’t change position on the Harrier II. Everything outboard of the outriggers is new wing.

Technically the ingame variant is just the British AV-8B, but yeah the II+ would be interesting.

Perhaps replace the one ingame with the GR.1 and add the AV-8B/GR.5/7/9/FA2 as a seperate aircraft

I would do GR.1, GR.3, and AV-8A and C under the Gr.1 with Adv Cust and then all the myriad of AV-8B variants under it as Advanced customization
