The Boom Overture '22 was released to much FanFair in the Aeronautican community, especially when it was tested and proven to compete amongst the top level established meta planes in the game. However, with seemingly zero reason or notification given, someone silently reduced its capacity by SEVEN PERCENT. (a LOT for an airliner)
This suggestion was made with the aim of reconfiguring the Boom Overture to it's pre-nerf state. What reasons do I have to back up this opinion, you may ask?
Reasoning
The Overture '22 has 33 windows on each side of the plane. Is it just flying around now with 3+ entirely empty rows?
While reducing the capacity of an aircraft normally allows it to access smaller airports with higher demand, the Job Chain route for the Overture is completely composed of Airports with 36 or more capacity. Thus, the Capacity reduction is just a flat nerf and serves absolutely zero benefit.
With the nerf, the Overture 2022 is merely a mid-tier SST, swimming in a pool filled with 1960s concepts and prototypes which utilized vastly inferior technology. It makes sense for the Overture to be a meta plane as it is newer and utilizes more advanced tech than almost all other SSTs.
The nerfed stall speed doesn't really make a difference, because even at its previous 145-knot stall, the plane is already exempt from every airport in the game that has a stall capacity (yes, stall capacity is a thing, and I mapped all of them out)
Regardless, it would be highly beneficial to the in-game meta to re-adjust the Overture 2022 to its pre-nerf configuration.
