The iconic Italian fighter of World War II. Fast and agile, it could hold its own in a fight against the allies' finest types such as the P-47 and Spitfire, and even against the German Bf-109s after the armistice.
Post armistice, it saw extensive usage with both the now allied Regia Aeronautica (also known as the Aeronautica Cobelligerante Italiana) flying bomber escort and offensive fighter sweeps over the Balkans against Hitler's army, as well as the German-backed Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana flying defensive bomber interception sorties over Northern Italy against the might of the allied air forces.
The game currently only has one Italian fighter of World War II, so I suppose it wouldn't hurt to add another one.
