⬆️ I've spoken about having purchaseable resources that can be sold for profit
and with this other suggestion, fishing boats will do something: Trawling

basically by sailing in directions you will catch fish and they will populate your cargohold.

you can keep the fish in your inventory or sell it at different locations

x5 Shark 🦈 (Sea)
**x90 Salmon 🐟(Sea) **

unlike other items, if you caught the fish yourself in open seas it wont have a place of origin, meaning you will be able to sell it anywhere and will be much more profitable

I just know that Iceland has an entire economy built around fishing

same with Greenland

and lost twice

easy

I feel it is self explanatory

#

they lost because they were british

Hence why stuff in Alaska is so absurdly expensive compared to the rest of the US for example

or should i remove it off the suggestion

But the concept of catching fish and then choosing ports to sell them at based on a changing demand multiplier would be epic

#

and maybe special jobs like
“Catch X number of X fish and sell them at Leovetsk International Airport for a 7x earnings bonus”

plush spruce
#

meaning they wont be able to be sold at their same airport

#

but what if u want to trade them

#

to different players

reef heath
#

Would likely just clog our inventories

there wont be a special job for it

#

or a job at all for it

#

you just do free flight

and whatever you catch

#

thats it

#

you sell or fly it to another airport to sell it

#

same with cargo aircraft

wont be a job at all

But having demand modifiers at each airport for goods and fish would be great

bc else it would just be like the jobs we have rn

#

my point is

reef heath
#

people find old ass servers with obscure locations for massive modifiers

#

which is literally what I was talking about

plush spruce

you buy bananas at cantaloa and u sell them at sandris

Choosing obscure locations

thats a big profit

dreamy prawn
#

this is interesting

#

the idea of fishing/cargo jobs giving you actual resources is quite intriguing

#

certainly a lot of coding work when other things that have waited for much longer (airlines part 2, for example) could be done instead, but I like the idea

dreamy prawn
#

perhaps something of this sort could work should a bunch of the other LONG DELAYED coding projects be completed

dreamy prawn
#

uhm, well, airlines part 2 has been in the works idea-wise since like 2021

jk
