In 1959, Cessna developed a prototype for a light jet transport version of the T-37, called the Cessna Model 407.
It is stretched by 2 feet (61 cm) to accommodate a four-place pressurized cockpit with an automobile-style layout. However, only a wooden mockup of the Model 407 was constructed, and the project was ultimately canceled due to insufficient customer interest.

Not exactly

#

The t-37 family are NOT fighter jets

#

they’re low speed trainers

#

they pretty much suck at everything but maneuverability

#

there was a attack variant
