The Northrop TAB (Truck-Airplane-Boat) was an attempt to create an all-in-one transport vehicle that could operate with the Chinook, Huey, and Canada CV-2. Northrop designed the vehicle to be easy to operate, convert, and build. With a proposed conversion time to any mode in 10 minutes, it could be useful for multistage transport missions in areas where the previously mentioned vehicles couldn’t reach. Additionally, for overseas operations, the TAB could fit into a C-130. Despite promising applications, the TAB project was cancelled.

(Instead of making this a boat/plane hybrid like the Convair submersible airplane that was suggested previously, this could just function more like an amphibious aircraft instead.)
