Proposed Advanced Compound Helicopter technology demonstrator, partly funded by the Ministry of Defence. Announced in May 1998, the ACH was planned to be powered by RTM322 engines with variable area exhaust nozzles and a gearbox from the Westland 30-200; they have wings attached at cabin roof level and BERP rotor blades. It was predicted to fly approximately 50% faster (

) than a standard Lynx.
Target requirements for the ACH include speeds of around 250kt (460km/h), operating altitudes of over 20,000ft (6,100m), 50% payload increase, , range improvements of 20% and life-cycle cost reductions of 10-20%.
Advanced customization of the Westland Lynx would be so cool, or maybe as a conversion for ESing it since it's a significant improvement on almost all aspects
