It’s a very well known technique used by many games already, even in Roblox, only way how CA made is that it’s new game with both NWX and Aero experience combined and in order to add that in Aero you’d need to recode most of if not the whole game, and that’s just one of the problems with already codes game. Was discussed previously few times between devs

I believe it requires way more deeper rewrite both for game itself and netcode, like cross servers etc plus as Hyper mentioned it has its own downsides

Cross server serves the purpose of feeling more full world, not just limited to 40 people in server, which was forced due to limit of accessible memory for servers, which IS I might say is biggest problem of Aero currently, except it’s not something we can fix on our part
P.S. you can always turn it off, only thing I’d change is maybe giving option to turn off you being visible in other cross servers but that’s about it

The more people are loaded the more people are loading if ykwim, people are loading their planes, scenery where they are, airports, thus server memory usage tops and crashes the server
