The current PAPI on the Lernivo is unreadable due to the sheer amount of lights, especially due to the red runway lights nearby. It wouldn't need the full light array (unless you want ATC to control that) but it would be a lot more noticable from a distance and tuneable to the OSS Lernivo's unique glidslope.
Neo has this feature on the USS Forrestal if you want to see how it can work.
It also needs no moving parts. Just some funny Paralax effect. You can maybe have a popup for the Lernivo like "keep the orange circle in the green band for landing!"
