I play on mobile and have noticed that the airport lighting significantly lags my game. In large airports, it even causes crashes. By introducing an 'always day' mode, the constant lighting off could improve frame rate and gameplay for mobile players, as you can't turn on the plane's lights.
This mode would also be activated in the settings.

The game wasn’t built to support mobile in the first place either, it was just enabled for shits and giggles
