smh didnt align the uvs for the door decals 0/10

also solved the issue with the weird texture stuff with rear door

it wasnt in the pc folder and it was in the main object folder instead where the materials and bitmaps usually are

its uvs also are fucked when you import the coating so you will have to realign them

its only one texture so not so bad
One last question, how did you fix this? is it a UV thing?

I thought I had fixed it, but no, how did you do it?

in edit mode, i discovered that there is a lower poly mesh hiding underneath the high poly one, if you merged vertices it will be very tedious to separate them so i would recommend doing that part after you get rid of it
same thing with these two pieces
very odd to have a lod model underneath the one being used

the weird textured bits are just the lod model poking through, its alot less obvious on the other two pieces but still causes odd shading issues

could you not just go CTRL + L on the LOD model and then delete it so you still have the unaltered high poly model?
well no because prior to merging vertices, its not all connected so you only select small pieces, not the whole thing
which is basically what i did, i would just select a vertice and hit crtl + to select all connected to it
and did that for every peice of the lod model until it was all gone
so yes but not as effective as you would want it to be
not that it matters much since i already got rid of it
