ARDIRE-class Mjolnir GEN3 Helmet

"Victory! Or we all die!"

Lore: The ARDIRE-class Mjolnir is a variant of the Mark VII GEN3 platform jointly developed by Chalybs Defense Solutions and Naphtali Contractor Corporation on the basic framework of the VOLANT-class Mjolnir Helmet. The goal of this new design was to create a rugged and resilient helmet to greatly enhance the independent operation of Spartan teams behind enemy lines.

The helmet features a well armored mouthpiece which houses the various sensors, breathers, and communication systems of the helmet to ensure their protection. Externally, the helmet mounts a pair of specially designed AN/PEQL-22 laser-light modules inside armored housings on each side of the mouthpiece which allow the spartan to operate in dark environments and mark targets for friendlies or to guide fire missions. The helmet can also mount an armored SATCOM receiver panel for interfacing with orbital communications in compromised environments.

The helmet also mounts a BNR/COMM BLACKJACK suite on its sides to support encrypted communications and battlenet relay. This includes a deployable antenna which can boost signal strength to defeat jamming or compromised conditions at the risk of the users location becoming easier to detect. Finally, the helmet features a pair of long-range sensors lenses on the center mouthpiece for long-range target identification and recon.

This is a remake of my first custom helmet I made around a year or so ago. Credit to @lapis flame as I used their assets from the Infinite Spartans Pack to put this together.

I am super excited to see what people do with it so if you do use it please ping me @visual marsh

@visual marsh Been getting into modeling a bit, and wanted to try my hand some slight modifications to this helmet. Nothing drastic, as a means to preserve the general idea of the helmet.

I imagined this as a more sleek, low profile version of the base ARDIRE-class helmet. The BNR/COMM BLACKJACK suite has been shrunk down to provide a smaller silhouette, while still featuring most of the core features the base model provides. Due to the smaller size, the deployable antenna is not an option on this variant. The AN/PEQL-22 laser-light modules have been slightly reworked to accommodate the compact design, but still function as normal. The helmet's brim has been slightly extended purely as a stylistic choice, I tried coming up with an explanation but honestly it just looks cool. Reminds me of the traditional helmets in a way.

Hope these slight modifications do it justice, I think it turned out pretty good. Thanks for creating such a great helmet!
