so I think I figured out why. The entire image is saved as 128x128, but the background image of the gif is not 128

it shouldn't bug on files like that

thats a normal gif thing

if they're well optimized

gif has no compression so you want to make each frame as small as possible

I should say, it shouldn't as in, if it does that should be addressed, not that it doesn't bug

yeah I guess rather than respecting the canvas width, it was shrinking it to the background layer width
