Oh, on mobile it's a bit more tricky. You need an app that actually supports 7TV and it's presence handling. I have to admit, I'm not sure which one does that best though

you can manually use #presence in:<channel> every time, but that's a bit tedious

none of the mobile apps have paints
the developer that made the app needs to do a call to the 7tv api so it knows u are there in chat, but from what i seen mobile chat apps lack of that

i guess mobile apps can send ping if the devs want to add that, but to actually show paints, i cant imagine how fast its gonna drain your battery, lag the phone and overheat it
