How do I turn off this annoying April fools update?

I appreciate the attempt, but I'm too old to enjoy this. I just want to uninstall.

go to 7tv settings > Chat tab > and enable "Disable April Fools effects 2026"

I appreciate that. Thank you. The attempt was nice, but I'm just getting confused.

Is it adding random troll emotes as well? Tagging me in messages that my username is not in?

extension appends :tf: to your messages randomly, random messages mention you, chat font is changed
