Hi, I’m having an issue with 7TV emotes not rendering.

7TV emotes only appear as text instead of images.
This happens in all Twitch channels, not channel-specific.

I tested:

Opera GX and Chrome (same issue)

Twitch web chat and pop-out chat

Chatterino (same behavior)

Reinstalled 7TV (stable) and also tested FFZ

Revoked and reconnected Twitch permissions

Logged out/in of Twitch and cleared Twitch/7TV cookies

Twitch native emotes work fine, but all third-party emotes fail to render.

do you see 7tv extension logo in top right on twitch?
try chrome://restart in url bar

It dosnt work for me at all.. is been maybe 2 months, before was working and a day not anymore, only the 7tv emotes dosnt show but FFZ and BTV work

i don't think it should matter much, if you don't trust cloudflare tthen you could try some other dns I guess Hmm

no, it's just dns resolution. Basically when you type google.com into your browser then it asks this server you provided as dns for an IP address for google.com

Basically no speed change, probably will improve your dns resolution latency
