7TV's automatically created FFZ profile is forcing FFZ to only displaying 2 lines of chat scrollback on Twitch. I want 7TV enabled for Kick. This is on Firefox.

Only choosing Kick during onboarding does not change anything because 7TV has required permissions for Twitch.tv domain for "core functionality".
Disabling the 7TV profile on FFZ does not work, because the 7TV profile re-eanbles itself immediately.
Moving the 'Default profile' on FFZ to be the priority profile does not work, because 7TV re-forces itself to be the priority profile immediately after changing it.
You cannot change the scrollback length in the 7TV profile because it is ephemeral, and trying to change it on the default FFZ profile gives you a notice that it is being overridden by 7TV.

Why cant the 7TV developers change their FFZ profile scrollback length to 150? Is this intentional to try to make people stop using FFZ? I feel like it's doing the opposite and making people abandon the actual 7TV extension.

It's an unintended bug that happens for some people, we have no intention in making people remove the ffz extension. You can also disable our extension and use "7TV Emotes" addon in frankerfacez, but that won't help in your case

it is forced to 1 because ffz scroller delays messages in our extension (as our extension fully overrides the chat). But sometimes the issue that you have happens

I am using Firefox, and have tried both restarting from about:profiles and killing the task from task manager as a proposed solution I found in the archived old help thread. Neither resolved the issue.

I do use the 7TV emotes on FFZ, but like I said I wanted to be able to use 7TV on Kick.

sorry for such a delay in response, did you solve this issue? Honestly I can't do more than ask devs whether this can be changed somehow

I remember it was possible to change scrollbar length with 7tv extension enabled, but maybe I remember it wrong cause yea I can't change it too scrajj

Yeah nope, no fix. Even tried some tinkering with Firefox dev settings to try and deny the extension Twitch domain rights which to no surprise did not work. Shrugeg So had to uninstall which is a shame because I would like to support/use 7TV. Everything besides this super annoying interaction is great.
