emote set merging steps:

1) go here and add PotatBotat as an editor https://7tv.app/settings/editors

1a) edit permissions (for Potat): "emote sets" -> admin, "emotes" -> admin, "user" -> manage profile

2) go here and sign in with twitch account, click the big "join" button https://potat.app/

3) here's how you execute https://potat.app/help/mergeset

TLDR; you can use that bot to merge sets. you can use a seasonal set, your main set, and merging them creates a brand new set of the two together (so original sets are not impacted whatsoever, and you can always just set the main emote set back to the active one, if desired)

here's an example of how it looks after (top-left + bottom-left = bottom-right). if your main emote set is very full, i recommend doing a purge before merging. also, for the seasonal set, i recommend adding as many seasonal emotes as possible that match the original emote names exactly. emotes with the same name will be automatically replaced during the merge (seasonal overwrites original for new set).

i believe if you go through the seasonal set and rename any to match the main set manually, that should make it overwrite properly, but i honestly don't remember if that method worked for me last time
