General Question: 7TV 'Verified'?

Hi there! I gifted out the first of 4 subs to go after the Summer Badge, and I noticed that my first friend I gifted to has the 'Verified' role on 7TV. I only subscribed in the past year, so I'm wondering if this is still being given out and/or how to go about requesting for it (even if it's purely cosmetic) at all? Appreciate the insight 🙂

Verified role is not used anymore and we don't give it out manually. It was used back in the day since partnered people on twitch had more slots than normal user

Right now it is purely cosmetic but we don't apply it manually
