Hey, I uploaded an emote a couple days ago, and, today, thinking something might be wrong, I started reviewing the FAQ and such. I have now since realized that my emote might not be in the moderation queue at all despite not being flagged as an invalid format. This concern comes after reading that webm is the only accepted video format.

Would it be possible for someone to check if it is successfully in the queue so that I might avoid uploading a duplicate emote? Considering the warning I read against doing so earlier today, it would be much appreciated.

The upload was a 654kb 60fps AV1 encoded mp4 file with the ID of 01K114NQJZ9CMJ7YWPNQN6AGYC.

To be clear, this is not a please verify my submission post, I simply desire to ensure my submission is actually in the queue.

I have chosen the bug tag because if my submission was accepted as valid despite being invalid, that would indeed be a bug as it would mislead the user into believing their submission was awaiting moderation approval despite not existing, contrary to the intended user experience.

Will I re-encode it to webm or is AV1 acceptable

yeah you can try to upload it again, if it won't do it then try to upload as avif. There seems to be an issue with avif processor failing for some time now

also, if you see your emote "loading infinitely" then it was deleted for some reason.
Emotes that were not approved by us yet can still be used but they will be unlisted
