#Need help for image size

maybe picture is small, just resize it or make it bigger
and test again
whats the best size ?

larger better
like 1000x1000?
the size you are uploading the image in is not relevant at all. It will always give you the 4 sizes you see regardless. With the default scaling setting in the extension emotes in chat will always use the 32x32 version. The other 3 sizes are mostly for other parts of the website or the extension. What you can do is set the emote size scaling in your extension to a higher number, then emotes will get displayed bigger, but only for you
oh okay, it doesnt matter right,
ty ty
and how do we make them "wide"?
for wide emotes you can simply upload them in the resolution you want. Max ratio though is 3:1, so in the biggest size 384x128
thank you so much 🙂
glad I could help
I was looking to see if there a "optimal" size for every pic, cause in the chat, its so small and sometimes not, so i was wondering 🙂
I usually upload my emotes with 128px height, as this is also the max height used on the website. So I feel like you have the most control over the quality of the emote by using that
If you upload something larger it will get downscaled and probably will lose some quality through that
I use that thing to "resize" https://tma02.github.io/twitch-emote-resizer/
Drag an image onto this page and it will resize an image into the sizes Twitch requires for emotes and badges.
If the resized image is larger than Twitch's size limit of 25KB, this page will also attempt to compress it.
Image processing is done in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.
hmm, I think there are better solutions than that site. This one is specifically for native twitch emotes. So it will also always try to keep them under 25KB. For 7TV emotes the filesize limit is 7MB I think, so depending on the emote of course, you might get better quality emotes by using a different site, like ezgif
oh u're right, u put like that ?
yeah, for example
