I was trying to set up emotes for my channel and all tutorials I've found, even the ones in the official 7TV help center, allude to having a default emote set when linking your account to twitch. When I finally found my emote sets there were none, and when I tried creating one it gave me no option to link it to my connected twitch channel. Can someone please help me understand exactly how I can connect an emote set to my twitch channel?

first create an emote set, https://7tv.app/users/01J63ZPK4R000EBJQG04YD8E1F/emote-sets > Create New Set (top right)
then to make the set active, click the Active Set button (top left) and select the set you just created
then to add emotes go here https://7tv.app/emotes and right click on any emote, Add emote to... and select the set

I tried that before and it didn't work, but for some reason it worked this time huh

also when adding emotes, it probably won't instantly update because of an emote cache, so you have to wait a bit
