First of, I tried searching and haven't got any details about this, and I hope it's the right place to ask, so thanks for the help and time investing.
Is it possible to pause the emotes showing for a certain channel? Like, if I want the emotes to stop showing to my community on my channel for a period of time, and then turn it back on without to remove the emotes. I suppose disconnecting twitch from 7tv should do the job, but I don't know if it will keep the emotes or not.

you can create an empty emote set on the 7tv website and assign it to your channel during the period when you dont want emotes to show. this way, your current emotes wont be lost and you can easily switch back to your original emote set whenever you want
