Hello. I have an emote that is at least 15 days waiting approval . I talked briefly with whomever manages the 7tv twitter, and they directed me here. this is the emote awaiting approval --- https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01JRGXXRBE7RW4N1ABRFEY5ED9 - and I was told it wouldn't get approved because flashing, but I found so many other 'flashing' emotes that are public https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01FQS716ZG0000QXHG0DRS7XSW https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01HDFSE8DG000AY3YP0YTYJ5FN https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01HVYN7ZH0000291DZRKJQHN69 https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01H0XSJ160000BMZMCBYQC48Q0 https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01FM52GG7G000D6HG894PC56N7 https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01GM0D0HY00000E1CMA68DFA0Z , and these are just from a searching 'flashing' and 'dance' tags. Im sure there are many many more, so how can I get approved for this emote? Thanks for your time
#Unlisted Emote please

these are never gonna get approved for public listing
any light strobing emotes that could cause seizures will be denied for public listing for obvious reasons
My emote is the first one, all the other ones are public , thats the only reason i listed them
like there's some wiggle room if these others have been approved
or no ?
first of all, yours is alot worse than any of the examples you linked and secondly, half of the "example" emotes you linked were not approved for public listing
im not trying to disagree with you , just trying to understand, i found all of them on the public listing, when i searched for 'flash' and 'dance'
i am not 100% sure why it showed them to you since all emotes approved for public listing should have a message like this in their activity tab, which the HyperBlob emote doesnt have
i can forward this issue to the mods for clarification, but i don't think the emote you uploaded should be approved for public listing
Ok thanks , I just ask that I be treated fairly, as there are other flash emotes
and i have uploaded quite a few emotes before and all approved
some of the older emotes are missing their early activity listings, so these are publicly listed
emote ToS has changed since some of these were approved, and they might actually get unlisted if a mod goes over them again
that’s kind of what i was expecting since i saw an old emote with no activity whatsoever, but idk who wants to go through all old emotes and unlist the bad ones
is that alright then for approval please, since there are others?
Ok thank you for replying, I'll check back soon
Sorry for infiltrating this thread since I don't want to start a new with similar issue.
Been a while since uploaded emote (all of them public), so I don't know the new pipelines maybe.
I uploaded new emote, it was public. Now it's unlisted, for 2 days.

Log doesn't say anything
There is no button to request a review of the emote (if it's gets lost in backlog or something)
emotes usually take a couple days to get approved. please be patient until a mod approves it
it will be unlisted
any chance you could point me to the emote TOS? i was reading through the TOS that is on the website, but no mention of emote guidelines, and that was also last updated in like sept. 2022
Read before uploading: ensure your emote complies with our rules to avoid rejection or loss of upload access.
thanks
I don't see point for that there tho
either way flashing emotes like that gets unlisted
I see, there's so many 'flashing' emotes tho , idk
from all emotes you linked I think this emote should be unlisted too https://old.7tv.app/emotes/01FM52GG7G000D6HG894PC56N7
it was uploaded 4 years ago, so seems like a reason why it's listed
I accept ur decision, but just want to let you know that there's no 'no flashing emotes' guideline in that TOS link . but i get its at the discretion of the mod approving it
your emote is not breaking any TOS, we just don't want disturbing emotes to be forced for people without an option to disable them
people can still see them when they have 'unlisted emotes' option enabled
and everyone can enable them in their chat if they have url to it
how does that work? like they can add an unlisted emote to their chat if they have the url ?
yes, only difference between unlisted and listed emote is it doesn't show in search results
it's still a normal emote
ok , one more question i think in reference to that. i guess actually i just answered my own question - they have a bot that you can paste a url , but it spits out 'emote is unlisted' so its probably their option to just not add any unlisted emotes
since its automatic, thats like a added layer, to only add approved emotes
ok i understand
