Ok, then go to 7tv options and search for "Paint" there you should see "Appearance > vanity" and if it is disabled, enable it

and it's a common problem, I change personal emotes all the time, some show up immediately, some don't show up at all, some after a while.

I don't see or understand any pattern in how emotions are displayed.

If I'm not wrong, that happens when you add a recent personal emote, I think pressing F5 works
