i wanna set an emote editor for my channel but only for the specific set thats active. how would i accomplish this
I thought i might just add an editor for a specific emote set but that doesnt seem to be possible even though that seems useful.
i feel like "Manage Personal Emote Set" might be useful to the issue but i dont really get what its supposed to do
#Question about setting an editor for a specific emote set and editor permissions

If you take away their emote set permissions they wont be able to change the emote set however once you change your set yourself they can edit it
well you cant give them permission to a specific emote set
wait, so if i set permissions like this
they can permanently edit emotes in emote sets that ive edited?
Well in emote sets that are on your profile.. I believe
I can give you editor on my channel with those limits if you want
and see what you can do
i gotta say its a bit ambiguous what some of the permissions mean
Yeah I wont lie I have no real clue what some of them actually do
Isn't this permission to manage emotes you uploaded?
permission to only add emotes to the active set seems to be gone?
you would need to apply manage on emotesets
idk why this permission is gone
and why manage on emotes is enabled by default
@balmy whale can you help us out here

something wrong?
well
i guess for now ill just manage my sets externally or something
i suppose this thread might rather belong into #1317181515423027230
stop trolling
This never existed
To be able to add emotes to emote sets you need emote sets permission
to be able to change the active set you need manage profile
You could grant only "Manage Emotes" permission for the editor to be able to add emotes only to the currently active set
This is missing now
