That's weird, I thought if an emote isn't available for personal use, user wouldn't be able to add it to the personal set

Well it used to be a 50 channel limit for the emote to be pending for personal approval I believe
but now they removed that so every emote goes into pending approval
if you click on the personal set it'll say Pending at the top left

if you want to remove an emote from your personal set, you need to click on the emote within your personal set emote page, then click on the "add to..." button. Then select your personal emote set and remove it
