Pressing tab to finish an emote only highlights chat identity

I have both 7TV and FFZ, the setting for tab completing emotes is enabled in both, but whenever I try to tab complete an emote it just highlights my chat identity button. Removing either extension and pressing tab only shows sub emotes. I tried clearing my cache and reinstalling the plugins multiple times and nothing fixed it.

it still occurs, i'll try a different browser and see if there's a difference

yeah it works in chrome, i'll reinstall brave and see if that does anything

yeah it seems something broke on my browser, reinstalling everything completely fixed it
