#Emote search sometimes freezes and shows you incorrect results

When you type something very fast into emote search for example "forsenpls" the search sometimes displays the results as if you just typed "forsen". It doesn't register the rest of the text you entered. You have to manually update the search input by retyping the last letter for it to show the correct results.

i also noticed another issue when searching for emotes in the emote set

#

it sometimes duplicates the results

#

not sure how to reproduce it

#

i can reproduce it by tapping slowly

#

easier to reproduce after Ctrl F5

i get it by typing really fast

#

idk maybe its my chrome that lags ayyybuWhar

#

it doesnt happen very often

#

or wait

#

i think it happens when there is a short pause

#

in typing

#

anyway its pretty rare so not really worth investigating imo

#

i do seem to get it more often when i search for different things

#

and when a lot of images start to load on screen

#

ayyybuWhar honestly im not sure what triggers it

Happens nearly every time I search, I type the full thing and it only searches for the first few letters and I have to backspace and add the last letter again for it to update to the correct search

I'm getting this problem as well sometimes, using Edge

#

It definitely has something to do with timing. I think it might lose some inputs when results are loaded in

#

I tried it by typing voolul in different speeds

Would it maybe make sense to add some kind of delay to the search, so only when it recognizes that there wasn't a new input for a short time it actually starts the search?

#

because right now it basically starts searching as soon as you write the first letter
