Are gifted subscriptions renewd automatically

I gifted a 1 year subscription and I think it is around time for it to be over, but I cannot tell if the subscription will or has renewed automatically anywhere. And if not if I can set it up some how

Can you ask the person that you gifted it to if there's a "do not renew" button on the subscription page?

Also if that person has not set up a payment method on 7tv then they won't be charged anyways
