I'm a mod for a streamer and i switched to the christmas emote set on the 1st of december, but since then he couldnt update them to show up in the stream overlay chat. He already refreshed it and took the chat out and put it back in again but it still shows the normal emote set emotes. what could be the problem?

can you tell what the channel name is? 
I just checked how the streamelements widget works and I have the same issue. Seems like they cache the emoteset id on their side somehow 
Idk how to fix that tho
If you want full 7tv support on the chat widget, you can try to convince the streamer to use something like https://chatis.is2511.com/
