The streamer I mod for gave me perms for 7TV and the Twitch channel but I'm still unable to actually manage the emotes he has in his chat. This is the first time we've tried to add 7TV to his channel, as well as my first time messing around with 7TV in months. I'm seeing that the standard perms for 7TV editors only cover the modification of emotes and emote set management when you don't check any of the other boxes before saving; which I'm thinking is the core of this issue. My streamer is a little.. stupid when it comes to implementing anything so I'm assuming that he didn't double check that I actually got the full permissions I needed to navigate 7TV almost fully without needing him to check off my every edit before saving.
As stated previously, the streamer first gave me what I'm thinking is just the bones of being a 7TV editor for his Twitch channel. Then I assumed that it wouldn't let me have access to the ability at actually add emotes to the chat if I didn't have editor on the channel itself, so the he gave me editor to his channel. I assumed that was all that needed to happen as I haven't really immersed myself in that of the updated 7TV interface, but that is obviously not the case as I can't even see the little cog that's supposed to be next the his channel name.
I'm wondering if it's possible for someone to give me the extra perms I need but don't have on 7TV's end cause my streamer just doesn't understand jack all and I genuinely cannot comprehend how he would make be an editor of his Twitch channel but not give me emote management perms on 7TV??? 😭 Thank you!!
