Twitch chat keeps glitching out.

Hello i've been having this problem recently with Twitch chat, it keep bugging out and glitching as shown in the picture. I've tried reinstalling the extension, i even reinstalled chrome. This is my only hope.

I would have to assume there's some other extension you have installed that is causing this

Try a different chrome profile, or the built-in guest profile

I've never seen it myself. Are you using Chrome? And are you using FFZ or BTTV in addition?

I started having the exact same issue starting a few days ago

I believe it started the day chrome updated

this is my chrome version: Version 131.0.6778.86 (Official Build) (64-bit) and I use 7TV, BTTV and FFZ

the work around i am going to try that my chat suggested is to remove 7tv extension but instead use ffz and enable 7tv thru ffz

if 7TV is causing the problem, then using FFZ or BTTV only will fix it

that much is obvious

but figuring out WHY it happens is the tricky part

i have the problem too and it's only in Chrome, Brave for example is totally fine but i have less extensions there overall. Don't know why any random twitch-unrelated extension would make a difference though?

I tried to replicate the problem as well but didn't have any success either. I tried multiple different setting combinations, but it always looked ok

i just had the glitch happen but just for a second or so, not in the usual scale like everyone else has already described, BUT I WAS USING FFZ. So it really might be only Chrome, but then again i haven't been able to reproduce it ever since it happened and it was the first time in multiple days of using ffz now, with 7tv it was happening all the time. just wanted to put it out there

yeah quite a few (ublock origin, a password manager, dark reader, tab suspender... that sort of stuff), i've been using ffz now and yeah, basically no problems there. I'd like to go back to 7tv in general but it's not too big of an issue for me to get involved too deep in more troubleshooting sry

So I don't want to switch browsers because of all my passwords and settings.. I tried uninstalling ffz and reinstalling 7tv and yeah it persists even after a month or two. The workaround of using ffz and enabling 7tv emotes thru ffz has been the best solution if you don't want to change browsers

I didn't see any significant changes when the chat bug appeared, but here are the logs from the moment it worked correctly, a few seconds of bug, and then it worked correctly again
