So i've over a long period dealt with this but i feel like i've had enough, basically many times during a stream that im watching, my 7tv would randomly stop working, as i load into a streamers chat, everything loads correctly, minutes later, either the stream crashes for me and i have to close my browser completely, not only refresh cuz that doesn't work or my 7tv just doesn't work, loads back to a normal twitch profile basically. I don't know if this is browser related that it keeps crashing or not but has anyone figured this out?

what browser, do you use nightly extension, do you have hardware acceleration enabled

I use Brave browser , and i don't use nightly extension and accelration. Also noticed today while we're at it, that after the maintence, i can't seem to log in to my 7tv via twitch or 7tv website

The login issue got solved but still remains an issue via twitch

enable hardware acceleration and switch to nightly extension, it has more bugfixes

Gotcha, i did try that now but i still have issues getting through the authentication with the extension

did also try allowing the third party cookies for the authenticator

you dont need to log in through the extension

#

that only gives access to paint tool

but brave will cause issues due to how it blocks cookies, devs are looking into a fix for it, but it is definitely a browser issue

Yeah, i know brave has a lot of different features that might cause a lot of issues, but that sounds good hopefully they will find a workaround

Also, wanted to ask you, im a bit unsure, i might be tweaking, but is there or were there a feature to get other streamers' 7tv emotes on the sidebar of emote menu

why would you get other streamers emote in the sidebar? you can only use emotes enabled in the channel anyway so that wouldnt do anything

like on the sidebar where you see the 7tv logo, i think i was able to get other streamers there as well who use 7tv emotes, i might be confused

i dont think this was ever a thing, it doesn't make any sense because how would it be decided which streamer, and what would be the point if you cant use those emotes anyway
