I wanted to know how many owned emotes can a channel creator upload. I tried searching on the website but did not see anything. the content creator for a channel I mod for was uploading his own emotes and had a message that said "rate limit reached and had too many emotes pending approval followed by the number (429)" see screenshot. I want to be able to have an answer for him so he has an idea. of course he did no upload that many. Can you help? thanks.

All emotes have to be reviewed by the mods after upload to check if the emote is fitting for public listing or not. You can have a maximum of 10 emotes that are awaiting approval by mods at the same time. After that you have to wait until these reviews have happened. When they are done you can start uploading again. I don't think there is actually a limit of how many emotes in total you can upload. The 429 is just the error number and has nothing to do with any limits
