#7TV Emote System Message Spam

This has been happening for several months now (was fine previously with no known change in anything that would have caused it).
Whenever I type in the chat (and I believe also in some other cases) the screenshotted messages spam the chat and anyone with 7TV has to ignore them. I'm not sure what specifically is needed to replicate it on someone else's end.
Whenever I googled previously I couldn't find any reddit threads etc. with the same issue so brushed it off, but thought I'd try here!
Any suggestions or attempts to fix very much appreciated! pumacatLoveHeart

i think you're using personal emotes set as your channel set

that looks to have fixed it! thank you for checking - im not sure i would have noticed it being set that way haha
