i’m trying to upload an emote and i keep getting “This emote is no longer available”

it’s a png gif

it’s only 1.9MB

it’s 127 x 127

i can’t see any issue with the file so does anyone else know how to fix this?

I just tested and the upload does work for me with that file

does the emote immediately say no longer available for you after the upload or does it take a little while before it's removed?

it says it’s processing and after a few seconds it says it’s no longer available

is the image you just linked the same one as you mentioned above? because this one is only 17kb, not 1,9mb

could you share a screenshot of the file properties?

there is a chance discord compresses it but not from 1.9MB to 17kb

could you share the file over some external site maybe? I'm not sure if Discord changes something with the properties

for example gachi.gay (dont get scared because of that domain it's just a file upload site)

the first version didn't even show as animated. So now it makes sense why it was so much smaller

make sure the emote you are trying to upload is <1000 frames, <1000x1000px in size and under 7mb in file size. If it fits all of those requirements, could you please post the file you are trying to upload here?

ezgif is the easiest solution. Convert it into webp and then crop it to get the same result as me
