What does it mean when an emote you upload says "Rejected personal use?" It's very clearly of myself, and afaik it doesnt break any rules

lean vapor
#

it says that automatically on every uploaded emote

unreal pecan
#

oh. ok.

#

cuz ive uploaded others that never got that

#

Guess I'll just wait and see what happens

so it needs to be in at least 50 channels before it can be hidden from the search?

silent hamlet
#

what?

#

hidden from search is something else entirely

#

unrelated to personal use

#

Why isn't my personal emote approved?

This is because we have more stricter rules of what we not allow than emotes you can use in a specific channel.

These rules are:
Any sexually suggestive, lewd emotes, including POGGIES is not allowed. Many users maybe uncomfortable with some users coming in their chat spamming lewd emotes. (amongus twerking emotes are fine)

An animated emote which changes rapidly, such as each frame being wildly different from the previous or having a very high framerate that may otherwise cause significant distraction is not allowed. Changing colors with low brightness is fine.

Emotes referencing alcohol, drugs, or any other substance is not allowed.

Any emotes depicting violence (cartoon gun and knife emotes are fine, as long as there is no blood) is not allowed.

Hateful or provocative emotes are not allowed.

Controversial or any emotes that may cause an argument or "chat-war" is not allowed.

Pointing to bodily harm for oneself or others (including emotes like "LTG lightning") is not allowed.

All emotes has to have 50 channels enabled

The maximum ratio is 1.5:1

oh i guess i just misunderstood what personal use meant?

silent hamlet
#

personal use is 5 emote slots that you have that you can use in any channel

#

as opposed to channel emotes

unreal pecan
#

ohhhhhh

#

ok

#

i couldnt find that info on the site, so i wasn't sure

silent hamlet
#

your emote is most likely unlisted as it's the default state before mods approve it

unreal pecan
#

they are, yeah

#

but i also just mean i couldnt find anything on the site that has that info about personal emotes
